Initial Pictures

Made a new craft this week and wanted to share it with yall! I can't wait to try it in a bigger frame! I couldnt get a good picture of it because of the lighting but here it is...

I made it for Sara, a K teacher with me. She had her baby this week and named her Isabelle (precious name). I tried to make it match the nursery so I hope it does!

I think these will make GREAT gifts for weddings, Christmas, birthdays, babies, or anniversaries! There was some scrapbook paper I found at Michaels that would be precious to use as the inital paper. I cannot wait to experiment more!

Pricing depends on the size of the picture frame!

Kanvas Kollages

My cousin introduced me to this next craft. I absolutely fell in love with the ones she did so I tried one out for myself. She does hers on huge canvases but since this was my first one, I did it on a smaller one. I absolutely love how it turned out! I did leave a few little white spaces in between the pictures, I'm hoping that was just a rookie mistake :)

I also got introduced to Mod Podge, which is awesome! I used it to glue the pictures on the canvas, and also as the sealer & gloss on top of the pictures. The possibilities are endless with that stuff!!

I used the Sepia tone but you could leave them color or do black and white!

These are pictures of me and my boyfriend but obviously you can do a collage of you and friends, your family, you and your husband, you and your siblings, a collage of your kids, grandkids, etc.

You can't really see the gloss in the picture but you can see it in person.

I think these are so precious and would make great gifts for weddings, Christmas, Anniversaries, or birthdays! My cousin has done a few of her and her friends. She has also completed some for friends of hers who got married as their wedding gift.

Teacher's Classroom

I recently painted a canvas for my precious friend, Allison's, Classroom! She is teaching Kindergarten this year (moved down from 1st). The canvas is a saying that every teacher in the school had to have somewhere in their room. I think it turned out super cute!

I loved the cute black and white polka dot ribbon too!!

Initial Canvases

This week, I painted some canvases for my little sister & her 5 roommates. She is living in the AXO house this year and has 5 roommates. They wanted me to paint their initial on a canvas so they could hang it over their closets.

I have never done just one initial on a canvas, and I love how these turned out! :)

Finally!

Yay! I finally got my pictures uploaded on my boyfriend's computer. His old one that I have been using hasnt been connecting to the internet AND now some of the keys on the keyboard won't work! So, basically I desperately need to go buy a computer!

Obviously, I make hand painted canvases! I love painting them, it is very relaxing for me! They come in all different sizes and you can pick ANYTHING you want to put on it. Here are some ideas:

-names
-bible verses
-last names
-sayings
-quotes
-one letter per canvas in a name (you would probably use small canvases...very cute!)
-sorority name
-teacher name (ex. Ms. Alfano)
-family name (ex. The Champions)
-Home Sweet Home
-Dorm Sweet Dorm
-anything seasonal such as Merry Christmas, Happy Fall, Happy Thanksgiving, etc.
-monogram or initials
-favorite high school/college/pro team

There are endless possibilities! Each comes with a cute ribbon!

Prices depend on what size you order. If you look to the right on my blog, I have standard sizes and prices. Anything bigger or smaller, I do on a canvas by canvas basis. Also, if I have to ship it, I add that cost on.

I have been such a slacker lately posting canvases! I am so sorry! I have done many since the last time I posted but I really don't have a computer right now (I am on my boyfriend's). My computer crashed so I was using my boyfriend's old one and now the keyboard on that one isn't working! So I really have nowhere to upload pictures...sad I know! I have also been away from my apartment for 3 weeks (yea summer!) so I do not have my camera to computer connector cord. I will upload my new paintings soon!
